ABOUT ABOUT

Before its debut to the park visitors over President’s Day weekend, join us for a new program called Meeting Woodrow Wilson: Facing Challenges in War Time.  Join a park ranger and President Woodrow Wilson for a discussion on the challenges of a foreign war to American Politics. Hear from the President as he discusses the Espionage Act of 1917 and compares his situation to that of John Adams.

After the discussion, join us for a look at the new exhibit titled Independence and the Great War 1917-1919. The exhibit is a pictorial journey through the role that Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell played in inspiring American citizens, soldiers, and people all over the world during World War I. You will also have the opportunity to see the originally signed copy of the Declaration of Common Aims.  Not seen by the public in over 99 years!

Light Refreshments will be provided during the program
